Seems like only yesterday I was in a law classroom saying this is inevitable, armed with a (then) recent ODNI report, Flock whispers, Fog data bust (https://lnkd.in/edE67mjt) and Grindr based police operations as support. Fast forward to today, it's S.O.P....I still think there are successful Carpenter v USA; Kyllo v USA; and Prince Jones v USA arguments that could have parallel applications. Particularly, law enforcement's relationship with technology and what it can do with it, and law enforcement's relationship with data the shadow brokers who sell it, and what law enforcement can do with it... https://lnkd.in/edE67mjt
