Good design doesn't start with a product. It starts with a problem worth solving. And that's how we approach every product that we design for the Singaporean home. When we started designing the Solaris Smart Laundry Rack, we didn't ask, "How do we make another laundry rack?" We asked: • What are some of the common pain points of existing racks? • How can we holistically approach drying in our tropical and humid climate? • Why is hygiene still an afterthought? • Why are setups so complicated when it comes to smart appliances? • How do we design something that works for every generation in the household? Every question became a design challenge to solve uniquely Singaporean issues. Every feature had to earn its place. That journey has now been recognised with the Singapore Good Design (SG Mark) 2026 under the Product Design category. More than an award, it's an independent validation of something we care deeply about, designing products in-house around how #Singaporeans actually live.
