Earlier this month, we brought together clients, collaborators and leaders from across economic development, planning and investment to mark two years of our Place Economics team at Prior + Partners. The conversation focused on a shared challenge: how to turn ambition into real, place-based economic outcomes at a time when prosperity is increasingly shaped by local performance. We are grateful to our panel – Anthony Hollingsworth (Cambridge Growth Company), Brett Leahy (Enfield Council), Jackie Sadek (The UK Innovation Corridor) and Shazia Hussain (London Legacy Development Corporation) – for an insightful discussion on aligning economic strategy with planning and delivery to unlock long-term growth.   Our Place Economics team work at all scales across the UK and internationally to embed economic thinking at the heart of placemaking – from Southampton Renaissance and Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, to East West Rail, South Denes in Great Yarmouth, and projects in Abu Dhabi and Belfast. This milestone is a chance to reflect on the impact so far – and look ahead to what’s next. Learn more about our work and approach to Place Economics: https://shorturl.at/RzDz6
