Last Friday, the NSW Government hosted the Premier’s Volunteer Awards at the Art Gallery NSW in recognition of National Volunteer Week, to acknowledge and celebrate the significant contributions that volunteers in NSW make, and the impact they have on creating a stronger community.    From cities to regional and remote communities, volunteers are integral to the wellbeing of our NSW communities, our social fabric, and our economy. NSW is home to more than 4.9 million volunteers, contributing an estimated 1.3 billion hours in 2025.
