Every summer, my feed is filled with photos from the same five European cities that everyone visits. Meanwhile those cities are not just getting extremely crowded but are also hitting record heat levels. Here’s what nobody seems to be talking about. A flight from the US to #CentralAmerica or #SouthAmerica is often shorter than the flight to Europe, and the time difference is usually just an hour or two, not six to nine. You’re not losing your first two days to jet lag. You land, and it’s already your time. So why does everyone still default to the same European postcard spots?
