From #curiosity to #appreciation – #Ottobrunn, #Munich #experience The #plant #tour was truly insightful, thanks to Matthias Humbeil, MD & Plant Leader for making complex #engineering and #manufacturing easy to understand, giving me a deeper appreciation of our heat shrink products and their customer impact. Meeting Markus Hardi, MD & Engineering Director, was equally inspiring. His workspace showcased an impressive array of #innovative #products — both completed and in progress—offering a glimpse into how engineering ideas are transformed into real-world solutions I had often heard about Germany’s labour relations framework but seeing it in practice through discussions with Jasper Stegemann and @Michael horn brought it to life. Jasper’s legal expertise helped me connect the constitutional foundations, while both he and Michael shared grounded, practical insights. It was wonderful connecting with Monika Kohlmann, Simone Metzner, and Christiane Kunze—gaining a valuable HRBP/RP lens on the region. An insightful conversation with Jonas Quick also highlighted the role of COE and how the One HR Team comes together to drive impact across the region. #Munich’s rich #heritage and #culture were immersive—from its stunning #architecture, #cathedrals, and #museums to #vibrant #streets and #cuisine. #Germany’s weekend #FIFA match brought excitement to streets. #Indian #restaurant surely made me feel at home.
