After being inspired by a solar installation at a nearby food bank, the headquarters of Goodwill Industries of Northwest NC is now getting its own array. And it's being installed by workers trained by Piedmont Environmental Alliance, a nonprofit dedicated to engaging north-central North Carolina's community for a more just, resilient, and environmentally sustainable future. The alliance's newly launched “Electrify the Triad” campaign hosts a training program for clean energy jobs at Goodwill.
