We are honored to partner with San Mar Family and Community Services and Community Services and their Bester Community of Hope initiative to launch a new Family Scholarship program in Hagerstown, Maryland. This two-year program, funded by a state grant, will provide 150 families with a monthly scholarship of $700. This direct funding will empower residents to build economic well-being and stability on their own terms. This initiative is part of the state’s groundbreaking ENOUGH initiative, a community-led strategy to fight poverty by trusting residents and local organizations with the resources needed to drive change. We're proud to support San Mar's commitment to authentic community engagement and a model that puts power and funding directly into the hands of those who need it most.
