PowerUp is now live in Nigeria... Delivering clean energy where the grid can’t. We’re proud to announce the successful deployment of our Battery Energy Distribution System (BEDS) in Port Harcourt as part of the ZEBRAS demonstrator programme, funded through the UK Government’s Ayrton Fund and ZE-Gen - Zero Emission Generators, and delivered in collaboration with MEP Technologies Ltd, the project lead, and our Nigerian partner Nevadic Limited. This project demonstrates something we believe will define the future of energy distribution: electricity doesn’t have to remain where it is generated. Using renewable charging hubs, swappable batteries, electric delivery vehicles and AI-enabled logistics, we’re moving clean energy from where it is abundant to where it is needed most, supporting communities and businesses that cannot rely on traditional grid infrastructure. For decades, we’ve accepted that fuel is physically delivered wherever pipelines and wires don’t reach. We believe clean electricity should now do the same. We must go where the grid can’t. It’s fantastic to see the project receive industry recognition as it moves from concept into real-world deployment. ⬇️ Read Aaliyah Rogan's piece for Mining.com.au below. ⬇️ https://lnkd.in/eC52xvqy #CleanEnergy #EnergyTransition #BatteryStorage #GridFlexibility #OffGrid #NetZero #Innovation #ZEGen #AyrtonFund
