The world's most valuable company just told investors that its business is denominated in watts. NVIDIA's CEO Jensen Huang at Davos: "AI is infrastructure. Just like electricity. Just like roads." At Morgan Stanley conference weeks later he went further. AI factories are power-limited. Each one draws between 100 megawatts and a gigawatt. Tokens per watt is now the single most important metric for a company's top line. Global electricity demand is growing 50% faster than it did over the previous decade. US data center power demand is on track to nearly double by 2030. And the grid interconnection queue sits at 2,300 gigawatts with median wait times approaching five years. The constraint on the AI economy is the grid. The constraint on the grid is market infrastructure that can coordinate distributed assets. Curtailment is rising. Generation is being wasted. The coordination layer is the missing piece. Read our latest blog to know more. https://lnkd.in/gKgAV3rN
