At Potentia Energy, renewable energy development is about more than generation, it's about how projects integrate with the land and the communities around them. At Girgarre (VIC), Cohuna (VIC) and Bungala (SA), that includes the use of agrisolar practices, with sheep grazing on site alongside solar infrastructure. Sheep grazing plays a practical role in site management, helping to maintain vegetation and minimize bushfire risk in summer while reducing the need for mechanical mowing. At the same time, it enables the land to remain productive, supporting local agricultural activity throughout the life of the project. Importantly, agrisolar at scale has the potential to reshape how renewable energy and agriculture co-exist, unlocking dual land use across large portfolios, not just individual sites. This approach reflects a broader focus across our portfolio, designing and operating renewable energy assets in a way that supports multiple land uses, where appropriate. As Australia's energy transition continues, models like agrisolar will play an important role in balancing generation with land stewardship.
