We were delighted to host a drop-in event recently for parliamentarians in Westminster to talk about the future of cash and in‑person banking services, and Post Office’s role in supporting access to these services in the future.    It was a great opportunity to welcome dozens of Members from across the House, hear their concerns and aspirations, and showcase constituency-level data highlighting the vital role post offices play in cash and banking in their area.   At the drop-in, we also shared early findings from new research we have commissioned to understand how demand for cash and face-to-face banking services will evolve in the future, and to explore models for sustainable, cross-industry collaboration to protect these services. Look out for the final report, which we expect to be publish in the coming weeks.   With this in mind, we are delighted that the Government has launched its Access to Banking Services Review, chaired by Richard Lloyd OBE. As the review gets underway, we intend to share our first-hand experience of delivering cash and everyday banking services across the network, alongside final findings from this new research, helping to ensure cash and face‑to‑face banking services remain accessible for communities across the UK. https://lnkd.in/exg9yd_v
