For 51 years, Hellidon’s postmistress Jenny Fell has been at the heart of village life. Recently, her incredible contribution was celebrated when Stuart Andrew MP popped by to thank Jenny in person for everything she’s done. From running the village Post Office to helping out at church events, parish work and countless community activities, Jenny’s energy and kindness have supported generations of local residents. Recently named in the King’s New Year’s Honours List, Jenny will soon receive her British Empire Medal and attend a Buckingham Palace Garden Party this spring. A brilliant moment for a much-loved local figure and a lovely reminder of how one person can make a real difference.
