We’re proud to share the unveiling of a new Acknowledgement of Country plaque at the entrance to our Newcastle office. The plaque recognises the Awabakal and Worimi people as the Traditional Custodians of the lands and waters on which we operate, and is a daily reminder of respect for their continuing connection to Country. Developed and led by our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Employee Reference Group (ATSI ERG) and designed by Wiradjuri woman Shelby-Rae Lyons of Marara Designs, this is the first plaque in a broader rollout across our offices. We marked the unveiling with a lunch that brought together our Board, Executive, ATSI ERG members and local team in Newcastle.
