NEW: Piloting the next generation of electric aircraft   The Port Authority of NY & NJ has been selected as one of just eight projects in the Federal Aviation Administration’s first-of-its-kind new Advanced Air Mobility and Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing Integration Pilot Program (eIPP).   “New York and New Jersey have the airports, infrastructure, and operational scale to serve as a genuine proving ground to make the use of advanced air mobility technology a reality for this nation,” said Port Authority Executive Director Kathryn Garcia.   “The data we generate on flight paths, noise, airspace integration, and ground infrastructure will help usher in a new era of aviation and position this region to lead the way as this technology advances.”   Read our Press Release below to learn more.
