A Showdown win wasn't the only special moment from the weekend. KFC South Pacific (Yum! Brands Subsidiary) showed up in force and Variety - the Children's Charity SA made dreams come true. On game day, KFC went full chicken for Port Adelaide fans. A KFC food truck handed Go Buckets to fans pre-game, a fan nailed a set shot from the boundary and a lucky bay of seats won Go Buckets on the spot. To cap it all off, Zinger Time was activated, leaving over fifty thousand fans with a Zinger burger to redeem on the way home. KFC know how to activate on game day and we were thrilled to bring their new "Go Full Chicken" campaign to life. Behind the scenes, Variety gave one young fan a day he'll never forget. Throughout the week, we followed Wyatt, a recipient of a Variety Grant who met the players, ran out as our Variety Junior Mascot, presented the Showdown Medal to his hero Zak Butters, and handed over the Showdown Shield. What a week. Variety's purpose and mission connected seamlessly into our content and seeing Wyatt present Zak with his medal put a ribbon on a perfect week.
