🏗️⛏️ Erfolgreicher Tunneldurchschlag der Elbquerung ElbX​ Beim Großprojekt SuedLink im Auftrag von TenneT Germany wurde mit dem Durchschlag ein zentraler Bauabschnitt für den 5,2 km langen Tunnel unter der Elbe erreicht. Auf den letzten rund 400 Metern profitierte das Projektteam besonders von günstigen Baugrundverhältnissen. Dabei wurden neue Bestwerte auf der Baustelle erzielt: Der maximale Tagesvortrieb lag bei 32,6 Metern beziehungsweise 25 Tübbingringen, der Wochenrekord sogar bei 158,7 Metern.​ „Der Tunnelbau unter der Elbe ist ein bedeutendes und komplexes Projekt, das uns als Bauunternehmen immer wieder vor Herausforderungen gestellt hat. Dennoch konnten wir diesen Meilenstein früher als geplant erreichen. Wir sind stolz, gemeinsam mit unseren Projektpartnern diesen Erfolg feiern zu können“, freut sich PORR CEO Karl-Heinz Strauss.​ Mit dem erfolgreichen Abschluss dieser Bauphase starten nun Innenausbau und technische Ausstattung. Die Elbquerung wird künftig als Teil von SuedLink eine Schlüsselrolle beim Transport erneuerbarer Energien vom Norden in den Süden Deutschlands spielen und damit einen wesentlichen Beitrag zur Versorgungssicherheit und zur Umsetzung der Energiewende leisten 🌱🔌​ --- 🏗️⛏️ Successful tunnel breakthrough for the ElbX Elbe crossing​ As part of the major SuedLink project commissioned by TenneT Germany, the breakthrough marked the completion of a key construction phase for the 5.2 km-long tunnel beneath the Elbe. Over the final stretch of around 400 metres, the project team benefited in particular from favourable ground conditions. New bests were achieved on the construction site: The maximum daily advance was 32.6 metres or 25 segment rings, while the weekly record reached a whopping 158.7 metres. “The tunnel construction under the Elbe is a significant and complex project that has repeatedly presented us with engineering challenges. We’re proud to celebrate this success together with our project partners”, says PORR CEO Karl-Heinz Strauss. With the successful breakthrough now complete, the interior works and technical fit-out of the tunnel are set to begin.
