I'm incredibly proud to announce I have graduated from Durham University with a First Class Honours degree in BSc Psychology. Throughout my degree, I developed a particular interest in child psychology, mental health, and developmental psychology, and how psychology can support children as they grow. This interest has been shaped by my role as a nursery teacher, my placement with Inclusion Education supporting young adults with their mental health, and my dissertation on executive function, supervised by Anna Matejko. Together, they've given me a clear sense of the direction I want to take my career. University College, Durham University has also played an important role in my experience; I'm so grateful to have been surrounded by such inspiring people and societies for the last three years. I've come away with friendships I know will last well beyond university. Next, I'm moving to Australia to keep building on my interests! If you're on the east coast and working in psychology, child development, or mental health, I'd love to connect. To everyone who supported me along the way, thank you so much. I have had the most incredible three years, and I'm looking forward to what's next!
