Jana dreamed of working in radio from an early age. Today, she does more than create radio programmes – she helps Poles and Ukrainians understand each other better. 📻 At Polish Radio for Ukraine, she creates a space where Ukrainian listeners can find their footing in Poland. 🎧 In their bilingual music programme, Jana and Marcin "Duże Pe" Matuszewski show that understanding does not require speaking the same language perfectly. It begins with curiosity and a willingness to truly hear another person. 🎙️ She also co-hosts the daily current affairs programme “Pół na pół “with Marcin Gaczkowski, offering a platform for discussions on Polish and Ukrainian culture and politics. Polish Radio for Ukraine has been on air since March 2022. When the war began, Poles opened both their homes and their hearts to Ukrainians. Ukrainian-language radio became one more expression of that support – building closeness through conversation and everyday presence. #ResilientTogether #PeopleStories
