On 19 November 2025, the Supervisory Board of Polish Ocean Lines S.A. (POL), following a qualification procedure, appointed Mr Piotr Pawłowski as President of the Management Board of POL S.A., effective 27 November 2025. He is a graduate of the University of Gdańsk (Faculty of Economics, specialising in Maritime Transport) and holds an Executive MBA from the Warsaw University of Technology. He has been associated with the TSL (transport, forwarding and logistics) industry since 1999.   Over the years, he has worked for among others C. Hartwig Gdynia and PEKAES Multi-Spedytor. He served as Operations Director at VOS Logistics Polska, Commercial Director at Apreo Logistics, Vice-President of Rentrans Cargo, and President of Orda Rhein Lloyd GmbH (Berlin), Deutsche Binnenreederei AG (Berlin), OT Logistics, and the Baltic Grain Terminal. He has also served on the supervisory boards of C. Hartwig Gdynia, the Baltic General Cargo Terminal Gdynia, and the Świnoujście Commercial Port. Additionally, he served as Chairman of the Port of Gdynia Users Council.   Earlier, on 4 November 2025, the Supervisory Board dismissed the previous President of the Management Board of POL, Radosław Marciniak. Until the new appointment, the duties of President were carried out by Ireneusz Ozga, a delegated member of the Supervisory Board.
