Un unico dispositivo per due sfide cruciali: protezione sismica e isolamento delle vibrazioni Proteggere opere d’arte e apparecchiature strategiche durante un terremoto. Impedire che le vibrazioni generate dai macchinari si propaghino agli edifici. Due esigenze che finora richiedevano soluzioni diverse e che oggi trovano risposta in un unico dispositivo. È l’innovazione al centro del brevetto sviluppato dal Politecnico di Milano, in collaborazione con Soleco Engineering Srl, nell’ambito delle attività di ricerca del gruppo guidato dal prof. Claudio Bernuzzi e Marco Simoncelli del Dipartimento DABC, con il contributo del PhD Executive Ahmed Awad. Il sistema è progettato per proteggere gli elementi non strutturali degli edifici – come impianti tecnologici, apparecchiature e teche museali – riducendone la vulnerabilità ai terremoti e alle vibrazioni esterne. This innovation lies at the heart of the patent developed by the Politecnico di Milano, in synergy with Soleco Engineering Srl, as part of the research activities of the group led by Prof. Claudio Bernuzzi and Marco Simoncelli from the DABC Department, with the contribution of Executive PhD candidate Ahmed Awad. The system is designed to protect the non-structural elements of buildings – such as technical systems, equipment and museum display cases – by reducing their vulnerability to earthquakes and external vibrations.
