Last week, the PolicyMe team got together in Toronto for our summer in-person event. ☀️ While we're a remote-first company, we see huge value in getting together in-person! Taking time to connect in real life helps strengthen the relationships, trust, and collaboration that are at the core of how we work every day. Over two days, teams spent time working together in person, sharing ideas, solving problems, and connecting with colleagues they don't often get to see face-to-face. We also brought our managers together for dedicated training and development sessions, continuing to invest in our leaders as we grow. And of course, we made time for some fun events! From team get togethers on Thursday night to an evening yacht cruise around Toronto Harbour on Friday, it was such a great time together. Plus… add in some karaoke, great views of the city, and a stop at Amsterdam Brewhouse to finish off the night, and it made for a memorable week all around. Big thank you to Vanesa Cotlar, MBA and Allison Cribbs who made this week happen and to the whole policyme team for their time, energy and participation. 💚
