After remaining silent regarding its #antitrust investigation into Norwegian #salmon farmers for more than a year and a half, the European Commission has asked District Court Judge Altonaga to limit discovery following a ruling allowing the #classaction to proceed. #PodhurstOrseck's Peter Prieto, who is representing some plaintiffs in the suit, said as the case has proceeded, it can now stand on its own merits. In response to the EC's filing, #plaintiffs argued the EC did not give them proper notice of their intent to intervene and said it opposed a limitation of its discovery process.
