At UNDP’s Regional Hub for Latin America and the Caribbean, we were pleased to welcome Alisha Todd, Director General of ParlAmericas, and Anabella Zavagno, Deputy Director General, for a meeting with Lyes Ferroukhi, Manager of the Regional Hub. The discussion focused on activating this strategic partnership and translating the MoU into a concrete two-year work plan around key areas of cooperation, including parliamentary strengthening, institutional modernization, open parliament, civic participation, transparency, digital governance, artificial intelligence, foresight, and youth participation in democratic processes. Through this partnership, UNDP’s Regional Hub will continue to support parliaments across Latin America and the Caribbean as a technical partner, contributing to stronger, more inclusive, and future-ready democratic institutions.
