Plastic Fischer on Tagesschau Prime Time — Again! 📺 🌊 Germany’s most-watched news show just aired a 2-minute segment on ocean plastic pollution (on the 20h edition) — and on how Plastic Fischer tackles it where it matters most: in rivers, before plastic ever reaches the ocean. The timing couldn’t have been better: we were in Nice last week for the UN Ocean Conference (UNOC3), together with other UpLink - World Economic Forum innovators and key partners like Allianz. Exactly the right place — and exactly the kind of visibility we need. Because: visibility creates pressure. And pressure drives change. We’re often asked: Shouldn’t we focus on upstream solutions? Yes, 100%. And Henning Wilts from Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy rightfully makes this point. But this isn’t an either/or conversation.
