We recently had the pleasure of welcoming Sophia Guertler from Girls in Quantum, together with Emma Wörz and Taylor Briggs from PushQuantum, at planqc.   It was a really nice exchange about a topic that is close to our hearts: how we can make quantum computing more accessible, more visible and more inviting – especially for young women and girls who are curious about science, technology and the quantum world. One of our common goals is to inspire more women and young girls to discover quantum: to learn, ask questions, find mentors and contribute their perspectives. This is why initiatives like Girls in Quantum are so important. They create accessible entry points into a field that can still feel complex from the outside – and help show that quantum is not only something to study, but something to actively shape.   At planqc, this matters to us because quantum computing should not feel like a closed world. We want more people to understand what is being built, why it matters, and where they can contribute – whether they are already deep in the field or just taking their first steps.   A special shoutout to Eda S., who has been driving many of these topics at planqc with a lot of energy and commitment. And thank you, Sophia, Emma and Taylor, for visiting us, for the great ideas and for the inspiring conversation. We are looking forward to staying in touch — and to what we can build together!
