The OPTISAT CubeSat mission successfully launched 🚀 A new milestone for our sister company Planetek Hellas! Aboard the SpaceX Falcon 9 Transporter-16 Optisat was deployed around 1h 10min after the launch on March 30 at 4:02 a.m. PT, from Space Launch Complex 4E (SLC-4E) at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California. OPTISAT is part of the Greek National Microsatellite Programme, and is designed, developed and operated by Planetek Hellas, aimed at demonstrating advanced secure optical satellite communications combined with on-board Earth Observation data processing capabilities.
