Moments from our recent activities in Saudi Arabia , carried out in close collaboration with our valued local partner, GEOSYSTEMS-ME Middle East. As part of the ongoing Vegetation Cover Monitoring project for the National Center for Vegetation Cover Development and Combating Desertification (team ncvcksa), the Planetek team, represented by Gamal Allam, Ph.D and Khalid Tijani, conducted training sessions with different NCVC departments. The sessions focused on the operational usability of Earth Observation and geospatial technologies, highlighting key project outcomes such as better data management, increased data accessibility, structured geospatial workflows, and vertical applications supporting vegetation cover monitoring, change detection, environmental assessment, and decision-making. We would like to thank Geosystems Middle East for their continuous collaboration, coordination, and support on the ground, and NCVC for their active participation and valuable engagement.
