This week, our Head of Superconducting Devices, Robin Terhaar, and SNSPD Engineer Roland Jaha attended the Single Photon Workshop in Naples, the world's largest conference dedicated to single photons, covering everything from generation and detection technologies to a wide range of applications. SPW brought together researchers and industry experts to share the latest developments in the field. For our team, some of the most interesting topics included microwire detectors, photon number resolution in SNSPDs, and high speed single photon detectors. Thanks to the organizers, speakers, and everyone we had the chance to connect with.
