With a judge as his mentor, Fernando Castaneda '28 is learning the judicial system from the inside out this summer. Castaneda works as an intern for Judge James E. Blancarte at the Van Nuys Courthouse. Castaneda is a political studies major at Pitzer College. His internship with Hon. Blancarte, a Pomona College alum, will give him firsthand experience in courtroom dynamics and the law.
