On Wednesday, July 17th, we had the pleasure of welcoming Mariangela Zappia, Ambassador of Italy to the United States, to Fermilab. Pantaleo Raimondi, Director of the PIP-II Project, and a group of Italian team members guided her through the project. Cryomodules showcased on the tour highlight the significance of the in-kind contributions from the Italian National Institute for Nuclear Physics and the involvement of Italian industry.
