Pinsent Masons and China Commercial Law Firm (CCL) have joint advised Cosonic Intelligent Technologies on the €122 million acquisition of German audio equipment manufacturer Beyerdynamic GmbH & Co. KG. This matter marks the first cross-border M&A project successfully completed following the establishment of the joint venture in the Qianhai Free Trade Zone between Pinsent Masons and CCL in March 2026. Cosonic Intelligent Technologies is a listed company headquartered in Dongguan, China, specialising in consumer electronics including headphones and speakers. Pinsent Masons acted as international and German counsel to Cosonic Intelligent Technologies, while CCL advised on the Chinese law aspects of the acquisition.
