We are proud to recognize Angela “Pegasus” Van Horn as our March Driver Spotlight and a true example of what it means to Make the Miles Matter. A second generation professional driver with more than 800,000 miles under her belt, Angela was raised on the oldest traditions of the road: courtesy, craftsmanship, and looking out for one another. While some might keep driving, Angela stops. She helps. She checks in. She shows up for her fellow drivers and for the industry she loves. In 2020, Angela paused her trucking career to serve our country as a Motor Transport Operator in the U.S. Army. After being honorably discharged following an injury, she returned to the road with a renewed sense of purpose, gaining experience across nearly every corner of the industry including heavy wrecker, hazmat, and doubles and triples. Today, Angela is an owner operator committed to mastering her craft while lifting up the next generation of drivers. She believes the road is a place of lifelong learning, and she is passionate about sharing the wisdom she has earned mile after mile. Here is to Angela for the dedication, service, and heart she brings to every mile.
