30 years ago PiLog was founded on a belief the market was not ready to hear. Today we cut a cake in Barcelona to celebrate it. And the room we cut it in was full of the most senior renewables leaders in Europe. At the SAP Executive Value Network for Renewables. At an event where two of our sessions were on the official agenda. With executives who came up after those sessions and said quietly what they could not say in the room. We have this problem. We have known about it for years. We have not been able to make the case internally for fixing it before it becomes a crisis. That sentence. Repeated in different forms by different people across different organisations across two sessions today. It is the sentence PiLog was built to answer 30 years ago. Here is what those private conversations revealed about the renewables sector in 2026. The ambition is extraordinary. The infrastructure investment is real. The assets are going in the ground at a pace the industry has never seen before. And the #MasterData governing those assets inside SAP environments is still being treated as something to fix after everything else is sorted. It is never sorted after. It is always more expensive after. Dr Imad Syed presented twice today alongside Elmar Paul from SAP on #AssetPerformanceManagement and alongside Smitha Rayala on #MasterDataManagement and #RDS Acceleration. Both sessions generated the kind of post-session conversations that reminded our entire team why 30 years of this work has been worth every single day of it. The cake was delicious. The conversations were better. Day 2 tomorrow in Barcelona. The energy in this room is something we will be talking about for a long time.
