The complete system includes 11 VapoFlexยฎ machines, along with the electrical drives and all necessary accessory components. Delivery is scheduled for mid-2026. ย  This innovative steam compression system sets new standards in both efficiency and steam quality. With a capacity to compress approximately 500,000 tons of steam per year, it enables energy to be reused directly in production, boosting efficiency while reducing COโ‚‚ emissions โ€“ enhancing both sustainability and competitiveness. ย  Thanks to this project, BASF is set to reduce COโ‚‚ emissions by up to 100,000 tons per year, marking an important step toward their goal of net zero emissions by 2050. The systemโ€™s scalability and adaptability also make it suitable for a wide range of waste heat sources, demonstrating the enormous potential of industrial waste heat utilization.
