Q2 2025 highlight recap (work only, personal life 10/10 as always): - DatacenterDynamics Madrid was a really interesting event. Thanks Hyphen and Eva Diego for inviting me to join an AI Construction expert panel on the main stage together with Colin W. and Marcos Portela Mozos. Also a lot of fun connecting with the local community in Spain, big things are happening. (9/10) - Great to have met a lot of my new Accenture colleagues in Dublin and always a blast to show clients what Soben is about together with the one and only Scott Smyth (8/10) - Some really interesting new companies and staff changes. Honorable mention to Eanna Murphy for starting a new journey, definitely one to watch, what a team he has assembled! (8/10) - Net congestion around the globe is still not being tackled head on. Despite efforts by leading figures in our industry, like Kees Verhoeven and Lex Coors, to educate governments how to sustainably scale for the DC future and how the industry will provide benefits to the economy, societies and countries, this is still a very challenging topic. (5/10, but a 10/10 for the positive push the DC world is making in this regard) - The Dutch Data Center Association celebrated its 10 year anniversary in Amsterdam, which was another sign that there is 0 slow down in our market. Very cool to have this many like-minded folks at the same venue. Jeroen Menheere and I agreed that NL is still the most innovation driven DC hub in the world. (10/10) Predictions for Q3 in the comments below please. Vamos!
