We don’t train salespeople. We develop people!   At the end of last year, we completed the training journey of the Inside Sales team at Boon Edam Netherlands. And what a journey it turned out to be!   What started as a Sales training quickly evolved into something much deeper: a Personal Development journey.   Connection was the key theme throughout. Connection with yourself, and from there, connection with others. They made the journey inward. And returned with powerful insights. Not only did they get to know themselves far better, the group also grew closer together. Stronger. Safer. More connected.   We closed this journey during the ‘Grande Finale’, where everyone visualized their personal story and learnings on a poster. Each with their own powerful narrative. Result: Tears of joy. Tears of laughter. Tears of emotion. I am so incredibly proud!! Proud of the steps each individual took. Proud of the openness and honesty.     Training and education are always valuable. Even 'Sales tips & tricks' have their place. But personal insights and personal growth create something far more powerful:   They don’t just develop better salespeople, they develop real people. People who stand firmly in who they are.
