My love for wine goes way back. After university I travelled and worked a year in New Zealand where I discoverd my passion for winemaking. I learned that making wine in challenging circumstances can be done and gives beautiful results. After some years in consultancy and engineering I rediscovered my love for wine when I met entrepreneur Jan Van Lancker. He just bought an old asparragus farm. And after a soil analysis and a tour of Belgian vineyards we were sure: this is a perfect place for winemaking. Wine importer and entrepreneur Johan Stoffels joined us and our founding team was complete! A year and a half ago we launched the first online wine boutique focused on cool climate wines: www.vinetiq.eu The story continues and we just presented our contemporary winery designed by international renowned architect Vincent Van Duysen to the public and the press! Wijndomein Valke Vleug, a vineyard and winery by Vinetiq. It is a place where you can discover winemaking from grape to bottle and in 2020 we wikk launch our first Valke Vleug wines.
