Reflecting on this yearโ€™s ๐—ค-๐—›๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐—ธ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ต๐—ผ๐—ป at the University of Mannheim, the energy and creative problem-solving we witnessed still resonate across our Team. ๐Ÿ’ก For our challenge, we tasked students with a core focus of ours: achieving true hyper-personalization within the Picnic app. We asked the teams to rethink the e-grocery experience to make it feel uniquely tailored to every customer. Seeing what was achieved in just 24 hours of non-stop innovation was nothing short of impressive. It was about more than just the technical stack. It was about the ability to take a complex vision and make it work in a real-world context under immense time pressure. The grit required to move from a blank page to a final pitch the day after is exactly the kind of engineering spirit we value at Picnic. โœจ A huge thanks to the Q-Summit organizers and to our Picnic colleagues on site - Lindsay Kempen, Berry Vermin, Sushmita Thakur, Abdallah Abusamrah, Lena Borger, and Kyria Liendo Grau - for mentoring the teams throughout the event. Most importantly, thank you to all the students who took on our challenge. We left inspired by the next generation of talent! ๐Ÿš€
