And how do you visually communicate โhappyโ, โboldโ or โplayfulโ on your table during a family moment on a sunny afternoon? For these new additions to our Picnic private label range, we worked with very clear creative quality cues from the start: ย โข Cornets โ fun, creamy, playful ย โข Water Ice Lollies โ bright, bold, happy These cues guided everything, from the colour palettes and illustration style, to the worlds we created on pack. The ice cream cone range became softer, beachy and light-hearted. The water ice range went in a completely different direction: high contrast colours, energetic storytelling and imaginative characters. A fun example of how packaging design can help translate product experience into something consumers instantly feel.
