πŸ“’ New Research Article Published in Physics Access We are pleased to share a new Research Article in Physics Access (Volume 6, Issue 1). πŸ”¬ Title: Energy Reliability and Its Implications for Translational Research Capacity in Nigeria’s Tertiary Institutions πŸ‘€ Author(s): Ibrahim Taibat, Abdullahi S. Adamu, Idris M. Mustapha, Madaki S. Kabiru, and Ibrahim A. Muhammed This study evaluates the impact of electricity reliability on translational research capacity in Nigerian tertiary institutions. Through a cross-sectional survey and quantitative laboratory energy assessment, the authors examined electricity availability, laboratory energy demand, backup energy adequacy, and their influence on research productivity. The findings demonstrate that unreliable electricity significantly disrupts laboratory operations, delays research projects, and limits scientific productivity. The study recommends investment in hybrid renewable energy systems, dedicated research power infrastructure, and institutional energy planning to support sustainable research and innovation. These findings are relevant for strengthening research infrastructure, improving energy resilience, and supporting evidence-based policy for higher education and scientific development. πŸ“„ Read the full article: https://lnkd.in/dNX9sspf We congratulate the authors on this valuable contribution to energy systems, research infrastructure, and innovation policy.
