Michael Schneider Completes PI’s New Leadership Trio Effective May 1, 2026, Michael Schneider assumes the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Physik Instrumente (PI), completing the new leadership trio. He has extensive international experience and a deep understanding of diverse business models, ranging from industrial mass production to complex, technology-driven products.   Following HOERBIGER’s successful acquisition of PI, Dr. Michael Albiez assumed the role of CEO on April 1, 2026. He also leads the newly established Positioning Division within the Hoerbiger Group and is a member of the Hoerbiger Executive Board.
