It’s been a privilege to be part of the Obstetrics Safe Surgery (OSS) leadership course implemented by Jhpiego and The Global Surgery Foundation which culminated in a two-day, physical session at Nakuru County Referral and Teaching Hospital, bringing together teams from the five trained sites. Initiatives like OSS continue to demonstrate that improving maternal and newborn outcomes goes beyond clinical skills it requires strong leadership, intentional teamwork and well-coordinated systems of care that translate knowledge into practice. I’m grateful for the opportunity to collaborate, learn and grow alongside such dedicated and inspiring teams. The true impact of this work extends far beyond the training room into stronger systems and safer care for mothers and babies. #Obstetrics #SafeSurgery #MaternalHealth #HealthcareLeadership #Teamwork #KenyaHealthcare #Nakurucounty
