Three days in Dublin. 40+ sessions. 80+ speakers. Phrase was on stage at LocWorld55 alongside some of the biggest names in global business. AI has changed how multilingual content is created. The discussion has now moved to how organizations manage it at scale. Some of the most interesting sessions focused on the systems around AI rather than the models themselves. - Spotify shared how they built a program-level framework that connects business strategy with multilingual AI quality across Product, Engineering, Data Curation, and Language Quality. - Miro showed how an AI-first architecture reduced translation turnaround times from days to seconds. - Booking.com discussed what it takes to deliver local experiences across more than 45 languages. - OpenAI challenged attendees to think beyond linguistic accuracy and consider how content influences brand perception and customer experience. The Phrase team had plenty to contribute to the conversation. - Georg Ell joined leaders from GitLab and Argos Multilingual to discuss the rise of "shadow localization," where teams can now launch multilingual content with little friction. The conversation centered on governance, consistency, accountability, and how organizations maintain visibility as content creation becomes more distributed. - Francesca Sorrentino took the stage with Qonto and Malt to share the realities of building a localization function from the ground up. - And congratulations to Miklos Urban, one of six finalists in the PIC #20 Process Innovation Challenge, selected from 27 entries and competing for the 2026 Innovator of the Year Europe award with "Precision robotics for language: Surgical word-craft in a self-improving system." We also celebrated our booth raffle winners, Julio Leal from Rover.com and Chandana Gobbi from Zoetis, who each walked away with a pair of Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer glasses. Real-time AI translation built right into the frames, perfect for your next global conference or trip abroad. Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Phrase booth, joined a session, or shared their experiences. And to the Phrase team, we couldn't have done it without you! Next stop, Las Vegas for Ai4 - Artificial Intelligence Conferences, August 4-6.
