When teams become a community 🤝 💚 What truly brings company culture to life?  Sometimes, all it takes is a football pitch - especially during the World Cup, when the whole world is watching and celebrating the game. At the Uwe Macher Cup 2026, PHOENIX’s international group-wide football tournament in Hanau, around 900 employees from all over Europe came together - more than ever before. 34 teams played more than 101 matches.  But the focus was not only on competition.  The day highlighted what defines PHOENIX: 🌍 international collaboration  🤝 strong team spirit  💬 personal exchange across borders In the men’s final, the colleagues of the warehouse in Mannheim claimed victory against Kemofarmacija d.d. Slovenia, securing the well-deserved tournament win. Third place went to PHOENIX Pharma Bulgaria, which delivered an impressive performance. The women’s tournament also featured high-level matches and outstanding commitment: First place went to Brocacef Netherlands, followed by PHOENIX OCP France and Pharmacies BENU SA. 🏆 Of course, we warmly congratulate our winning teams.  But the greatest success is something else: a strong, connected, and engaged PHOENIX community. Colleagues who usually only meet virtually suddenly stood side by side - on the pitch or cheering from the sidelines. 🙏 A big thank you to everyone who participated, organized, supported, and cheered.
