Celebrating 50 Years of Phoenix Mecano – A Look Back and a Vision Forward Last week, leaders from across Phoenix Mecano came together in Constance, Germany, to share and discuss their visions for the future of their companies and the Group as a whole. Together with the Board of Directors and former colleagues, participants also celebrated Phoenix Mecano’s 50th anniversary at a festive gala dinner. In his speech, Executive Chairman Benedikt Goldkamp reflected on Phoenix Mecano’s remarkable journey from selling technical gases and welding torches to building complete system integrations and digital nursing beds. Christoph Kohler, author of “Success is Always Yesterday’s News” – an oral history of Phoenix Mecano – shared insights into the origins of the book and the stories behind it.
