Following a successful application season, I am excited to share that for the next 2 months, I will be interning at the Bioinformatics Medical Research Core Facility at the Indonesia Medical Education and Research Institute (IMERI FKUI)! As a collaboration between the various departments under the Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia, I will be researching and analyzing Illumina-sequenced samples from breast cancer patients. I will be shadowing the labs for sample separation and processing, as well as participating in the lectures, practicals, and workshops provided by the university. Looking forward to the new knowledge and skillsets I will explore in the next two months!
