Not to get too soppy but today is my last day at Ignition Technology. I’ve had the pleasure and the privilege these last 9+ years to see this company grow from a rag tag bunch of misfits into the multinational organisation that it is today. It’s no understatement to say I owe my entire professional career (and more than a few hilarious memories) to all the beautiful reprobates that have come and gone in my time here. I’ll miss you all. Too many people to shout out but a special thank you to those OG people. You know. I hope you do. Been around for so long there’s far more people that’ll I’ll miss than include but I gotta shout out Chris Butchart and James Saunders. What a team. The stories live on still. Marc Morgan-Davies. Great times. Shame about the rugby. The management team Peter Ledger Sean Remnant Philip B. Dave Risk for having me for so long and the 8x plus engineers I’ve hired/managed for dealing with me. @craig brennan & Joshua Jones for seeing me out until the end and for the many many years. The impossible-to-do-without Sally Hatton and so many many more. But a super special thank you to Paul Risk for taking a chance on me all those years ago and for sticking with me. I can’t wait to see what Ignition becomes over the next decade. Thank you all
