At that time it was the first investment of such scale outside of China for Sun Paper: π± They have created their own eco-system there, which goes far beyond anything I have seen before or what is known from paper mills in China. The location may be remote, but the paper quality and performance of the facility are truly world-class. It's incredible to see such a high standard of manufacturing in an area so far removed from urban hubs - in the middle of the jungle! πππ’π¦ π πππ ππππ§π¦ βΆοΈ 410 km southeast from Vientiane, the capitol of Laos βΆοΈ < 2000 employees βΆοΈ 850 000 tons of high performance containerboard per year βΆοΈ one of best paper quality for testliner in the market During the week, we were able to lift additional energy savings from which our customer will benefit in future: β Steam savings β Fresh water savings β Electrical energy savings #SustainablePapermaking #PapermakingNextLevel π‘ Besides our optimization we had the chance to discuss further opportunities and ideas with regard to sustainable solutions for both production lines.
