Today marks my last official day working for Lufthansa Technik Logistik Services. Before moving on to Lufthansa Technik as of tomorrow, I want to appreciate what I’ve experienced in the last years. Starting in the midst of the pandemic, it was certainly not an easy start. But we managed to recover and strongly ramp up again - and we took the ability to create trust and performance while working remotely into post-Covid times. When I started I didn’t know anybody at Lufthansa Technik Logistik Services. More than five years later that is obviously quite different and I am very grateful for the trust we developed in the greater management team, the laughter shared despite stressful situations and some friendships made. Special thanks go out to Andreas Tielmann who trusted me with this large leadership position. Andreas, thank you for your unique ability to calm the waves and give us structure (in a charming way) when tensions were high!
